Melendy Moritz PLLC Announcement
The Law Offices of Mark E. Melendy, P.L.L.C., is pleased to announce that Daphne Moritz, Esq., has become a partner and the firm name is now Melendy Moritz PLLC.
Daphne focuses her client centered practice helping individuals and small business owners on estate planning, life care and special needs planning, and business and farm succession planning. She also counsels individuals on probate, trust matters and estate administration matters, and advises tax exempt corporations regarding formation, obtaining tax exempt status, reporting and operational requirements.
Daphne is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and serves on its Vermont Chapter. She is also a member of the Vermont and New Hampshire Bar Associations.
Daphne has been committed to community service and has been a Royalton School Board Director for the past ten years. Prior to that, she served as a Royalton Select Woman and on Royalton's Planning Commission. She most recently sat on Dartmouth College Hopkins Center's Class Divide Initiative Community Advisory Board.
Daphne received her B.A. cum laude from Dickinson College and her J.D. and Masters in Environmental Law magna cum laude from Vermont Law School. She is admitted to practice in Vermont and New Hampshire.
