Our Process
Designed with your confidence in our estate planning process in mind, every decision made with you is discussed in depth. We will seek
-
to conclude the initial process within twelve weeks, and
-
to provide you with both the technical prowess necessary to accomplish your goals, with warmth and personal service which ensures an enduring and trusted relationship.
A few days after you schedule your appointment you will receive a packet with an Estate Planning Worksheet (also downloadable here) and other important information for your review prior to your meeting.
Please complete and return your worksheet prior to our meeting. When we have time to review your worksheet prior to our meeting we have the opportunity to have the most complete and effective and complete meeting possible.
If you have existing estate planning documents, please make sure we have them prior to our meeting as well so that we can review them before meeting with you.
On the day of your meeting you will have a meeting with either Attorney Mark E. Melendy or Attorney Daphne Moritz. At the initial meeting you will learn if there is a good fit between you and the attorney.
Together with the attorney you will identify your goals and objectives that will inform the best estate planning for you. You may choose the Planful Path™ Trust Legacy Protection Plan which will allow the attorney to design, within your budget, the plan that gives you peace of mind and protection for your loved ones that you desire.
After we complete your plan documents you will come back to the office for a formal signing appointment. While most law firm relationships end there, you can be further protected under our Inclusive Wealth Strategy™.
An extra protection when you sign up for the Planful Path™ plan is that you receive at no added cost a year of the Inclusive Wealth Strategy™ annual protection plan commencing on the signing of your estate planning documents. (Please refer to our Planful Path™ Trust Legacy Protection Plan™ for more details on our Wealth Strategy™ annual protection plan.)
